does size matter?

We know how difficult it can be to look at an image of our bags and accurately  access the real size of the bag. We also understand  that dimensions alone are tough to interpret.  For extra help in selecting your Freddy&Ma bag, you can download our "BAG SCALE" which gives a side by side comparison of our styles relative to one another and an average sized woman.

something exotic?

We're currently experimenting with some really rockin' leathers that we plan to offer for select f&m styles, starting with the Hazel Clutch.  These pieces will be more exclusive, therefore more expensive, but also in very limited release.  Perfect for all occasions!

Steve Madden now offers a small selection of styles that can be
customized.  Great news for us in terms of breaking customers into customization!  We played around with the site and the configurator is pretty cool, very similar to what you will find on Nike, Timberland, Vans, and Converse.  I made a few pair that I wouldn't mind purchasing, but I have bigger and better ideas for F&M custom shoes!

final touches...

so as our web developers put the finishing touches on the website, we have been busy getting everything setup to handle the onslaught, well, allright, small wave, of orders that we expect after the website goes live.  We crawled around on the factory floor counting rivets, buckles, zippers and hides and organized everything so as soon as you order your bag we can make it as quickly as possible.  We also received the new Freddy&Ma boxes which is what you can expect to see at your door a few weeks after placing your first bag order:-)  be sure to sign up for our mailing list so that you can qualify for some special deals immediately after launch!

beauty tips from miss universe

Last night I had the pleasure of attending a party at Trump Tower promoting this new book, Universal Beauty; The Miss Universe Guide to Beauty, hosted by Donald Trump himself and all of the Miss Universe contestants including past winners.  The girls were beautiful and extremely tan, the drinks were excellent, the food was by David Burke (my favorite was a cheesecake lollipop dipped in bubblegum whipped cream) and the goody bag was stocked with a copy of the book, vodka, hair products, and a pedicure kit.  It was a great party and to my surprise, the Donald is quite charismatic in person.

the waiting is the hardest part

We're down (finally) to the last days before the launch of the official Freddy&Ma website.  Our hardworking web developers are putting the final touches on the website and we are already a few months ahead of ourselves planning new products, marketing strategies, and in a nutshell, the future.  We're always looking for new textile designers, so if you know anyone who might be interested, please send them our way.  We will soon be introducing a great incentive program where you can "earn" a FREE F&M bag, just by introducing us to those your friends and family.  Stay tuned, we'll be open before you know it!

The jeans craze is not slowing down....recent article in WWD confirms this....but you don't have to read the industry trades to realize that suddenly, jeans are the only thing that people wear, regardless of the occasion.
