I'm a huge Martha Stewart fan.......I record her show daily and love her Kmart line and I long for the day when I have a country home where I can bake the weekend away and keep 14 cats in the barn.........anyway, we're very pleased and happy with this mention in a relatively new mag from the editors of Martha Stewart Living, Blueprint. I love the "extra" fashion issues that all my favorite mags put out......there's just so much great product to look at every season and I buy all of these special editions religiously and fold down multiple pages.......so what a lovely surprise I got thumbing thru a new InStyle with the fab Rachel Bilson on the cover, (who by the way has her very own hazel purse), when I discovered that they were featuring our nautical hazel purse by Joy Deangdeelert Cho......it looks really hot with that ensemble!

When we designed the F&M website, we created a little item on the lower left hand corner of the homepage that allows people to see the last 4 bags created in our configurator by customers. On busy days you can keep refreshing your browser window all day long and watch a cascade of unique designs flow by. This morning I was roaming around our site and when I went back to the front page I saw these 4 great bags. It is amazing how deep in our print catalog some customers go! This might explain why we have only sold the exact same bag (all custom options the same) twice.
We have been getting lots of queries lately regarding the sizes of some of our new styles. Hopefully these pictures will help clarify things a bit :-) As you can see, both the PA Pouch and the Gracie Tote have undergone a bit of nip and tuck which we think will make them a bit nicer to both look at and carry!
The lovely folks at Shopaholic have featured our handbags. It is so amazing how blogs help spread the word about your brand/products. We are always surprised at how much web traffic and buzz little mentions such as this one generate. Every bit helps!
Today is crash day. The madness began about 9 days ago with the arrival of Freddy, the beginning of fashion week and a huge drop in temperature in NYC. Between running around in 4 inch heels to see James Coviello, Twinkle, and Tracy Reese, being interviewed for the CW11, German TV, and Switch, meeting with our showroom, PR company, interns, traveling back and forth to our factory, testing new fabric, shipping orders, attending the release party of a graphic novel from the husband of one of our designers and the opening of etsy labs, existing on oatmeal and cough drops, and trying to finalize our fall concepts, to say that I am tired is the understatement of the year. Along the way I bumped into Pamela of BagTrends, Marc who styled our recent shoot, and Julie of Coutorture. Things got so crazy that I actually turned down a few invites to shows; my oh my how times have changed. Let's hope I'm back in working order by tomorrow!
So this morning Freddy&Ma was feature on Truly Julie, a segment on the CW11 channel here in NY. It is a great segment and does an excellent job of explaining our concept and showing how it works both in online and offline (custom trunk show!) formats. Enjoy.
we are always amazed at the diversity of bags created by our customers. we were very excited this morning when someone ordered this palo alto pouch. this bag is going to look amazing. we will post pics of the bag once it gets through production in a few weeks. what other company offers handbags with skulls on them???? only Freddy&Ma :-) Also, if anyone is interested in the skull prints but would like a different color combo, LET US KNOW, we are more than happy than to make this print in ANY
color combination.
