That's What Friends Are For

Imgset1You haven't seen your girlfriends in what seems like forever due to conflicting schedules, work-related events, spending time with boyfriends, fighting with boyfriends, and overall just not having any free time to breathe.  So you finally plan on meeting up with them for lunch one Spring day, and you just can't figure out what to wear.  What's the perfect outfit for some solid male-bashing, gossip time, and catching up on each other's lives? Try a pretty dress like this one from Anna Sui, paired with this fresh F&M pouch, flat Grecian-style sandals and fun sunglasses --Guaranteed you'll receive compliments from your friends, and even some envious looks.

only in NYC

032307_1017So last night, as the staff here at Freddy&Ma was hitting their stride, which usually occurs around 11pm, we realized that we needed some extra filing space.  A quick search on craigslist found someone in Union Square that had a large filing cabinet for sale for $45.  This morning, Freddy headed downtown with his trusty handtruck to check it out.  It turned out to be about 3 feet wide, 5.5 feet tall and in great condition.  Freddy then preceeded to walk this monstrocity 14 blocks and 3 avenues uptown back to F&M global headquarters, stopping at Home Depot and Calumet Photographic along the way.  Only in New York could you locate and purchase a huge, inexpensive filing cabinet, walk it 1.3 miles through city streets on a handtruck and not even garner a second look from people on the street.  You have to love the city on days like this.

Lucky Bag Guide on GMA

We were thrilled when we learned that Lucky would be taking our Bowler to Good Morning America for cool segment about their Spring Bag Guide.  Sporty stripes are in!

amazing shot, even if it is hiding our bag

Once again, my pet print, tennis raquets, makes the cut.   CREATE your own version here.  Many thanx to the people at SMASH.

what a saucy title

It seems like I remember something about "Jezebel" being a controversial lady in her time? We're so pleased for this mention in Atlanta.  Contact us for more information on how to get this bag.

it's small but it's there

This print is so classic it looks great on any of our styles.

I love this print

it actually sparked a little argument between Freddy & Ma, because Ma designed this print which was inspired by a thrift store find and Freddy thought it was a bit to "immature".  Looks like Ma wins this one ;  ). Get yours HERE.  I'm also very fond of this version.  Many thanx to Child magazine for this great placement.

more good luck(y)

After holding our breath for the past six weeks, we were thrilled to see we made the final cut for the LUCKY bag guide.  And with Parker Posey on the cover no less, completely in love with her (anyone seen Party Girl or Best in Show recently?).  Get your very own sporty bowler HERE.
