the beach is all about being casual and comfy but sometimes it's fun to channel your inner "dita" and trade in the usual flip flops for some espadrilles and heart shaped glasses......watch out boys......our preppy bowler looks a lot sexier paired with a striped tube top and high waisted denim shorts....perfect for a trip to the farmer's market or a garden party in Amagansett.

what's up hbo?

I don't know what's going on over at HBO this summer but my 2 favorite shows are not living up to their former seasons.  Entourage hasn't even been funny the past 2 weeks, and they don't do anything with the character of Vince while Big Love has just been kind of boring? All I know is that I've been sitting there waiting for something to happen and then the show ends and the previews for the next episode aren't that compelling.......I hope this isn't the end, but if things keep going at this rate I wouldn't be surprised.

Huge thank you to Bobbie Thomas and her feature on us in this weeks InTouch magazine.  They actually included a picture of me helping JoJo design her own bag -- probably the one and only time my photo will be published in a weekly gossip magazine -- so hilarious.

our famous fans

celebrities have a lot of the same concerns as we do.......they don't want to show up wearing the same dress/bag/shoe as their friend/competition.........so f&m is constantly creating special things just for them...........don't they look fantastic?!?!

when casual friday's aren't so casual

I have never had the pleasure of working for an ultra conservative company with a strict dress code but I know that many of you have to endure the full suit or some version of it in this intense weather ....if I had to wear a not-so-casual outfit this friday, I would be wearing this.....cute, cotton, comfortable and pretty covered up and one of my favorite bags.  I cannot imagine being deprived of open toe shoes!  My casual Friday outfit consists of a pair of  cutoff seven's and a couple of gauzy tops and sandals with purple eyeshadow but sometimes I fantasize about having lots of nice expensive suits and heels.....

rocco turns 1

little rocco, the office dog at f&m, turns 1 YEAR OLD today (golf claps).  here he is on a recent trip to our beach house sporting his summer 'do.  ma likes to dress him in silly but cute outfits which he sometimes doesn't appreciate, but she's always looking for good websites (hint, hint).
