a friend of Freddy's had an extra copy of Eat, Pray, Love and decided to send it my way. It's been a
really long time since I read a book that I could relate to on so many levels yet didn't bore me or annoy me. I don't really know how to explain this book except that it's one woman's journey to "find herself" which sounds corny but I promise you is anything but......so I'm telling anyone who will listen that they should read this book and let me know what they think.....I'm almost finished with my copy so let me know if you want to borrow it ; )
“If you are brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting (which can be anything from your house to your bitter old resentments) and set out on a truth-seeking journey (either externally or internally), and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue, and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher, and if you are prepared – most of all – to face (and forgive)some very difficult realities about yourself….then truth will not be withheld from you.”
while Kait is partying (dress ready to go) in LA, I am sitting in NYC pouting about the fact that I a) did not read the shipping instructions clearly and b) was too lazy to walk over to BCBG and buy the dress vs ordering it online......now my gorgeous new years eve dress will not be arriving until January 2nd and it will do me absolutely no good then.....I'm overdramatizing of course, but geeeeez, I ordered it on the 21st, you would think that they could get it to me a little bit sooner!! Guess I will just have to go shopping again, darn.
Me and my New Year's dress have finally found each other! And then we found the perfect necklace and F&M envelope to come with us. So we're off to LA to eat In-N-Out burger, drive around in convertibles, and party at Les Deux.
A new bowling alley just opened up by my apt, so of course me and my F&M Bowler had to check it out. In addition to carrying my bowling ball and other necessary bowling gear, should I ever own such things, I think the funky print by Michelle Mason helped to distract my opponents. How else could I have won with the pathetic score of 109?
I wouldn't normally post a random YouTube video, but this particular video said to.
Thanks to the folks at 944 for including our bubblegum patent Hazel Purse in this gorgeous spread. All those bright colors look like candy on such a dark background. Couldn't you just eat 'em up?
