my new favorite bag

we just got our first sample of the new "marianna" (an oversize chunky clutch) and it's absolutely gorgeous and sexy......you can put a lot of stuff inside and carry during the day but it's chic enuf to wear out at night ---i will be rocking it tomorrow evening in Philly.......you'll be able to customize this bag by selecting from a wide variety of leathers, including quilted and croc textures......and it features my favorite chain and turnlock (you'll be seeing a lot of these)......thoughts?

While perusing an old issue of Domino magazine the other night I came across this gorgeous wallpaper from the portfolio of NYC interior designer Ashley Whittaker. I've always loved zebra, but in navy blue, this classic print gets a whole new lease on life.

F&M Goes to Hollywood

Me and my New Year's dress have finally found each other! And then we found the perfect necklace and F&M envelope to come with us. So we're off to LA to eat In-N-Out burger, drive around in convertibles, and party at Les Deux.

Bowler Bags were made for Bowling

A new bowling alley just opened up by my apt, so of course me and my F&M Bowler had to check it out. In addition to carrying my bowling ball and other necessary bowling gear, should I ever own such things, I think the funky print by Michelle Mason helped to distract my opponents. How else could I have won with the pathetic score of 109?

Trend "Check"

In 4th grade, the word on the street was:

"Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo." Which is to say Buffalo (the animals) from Buffalo (the city) buffalo (meaning to bully or intimidate) other Buffalo (the animals) from Buffalo (the city). Amazing but true!  You can read all about this amazing phenomenon here.

Can someone please explain......

why it's 75 degrees in the middle of October? Or why it only seems to rain when the Weather Channel doesn't predict precipitation? With weather this unpredictable how is a girl supposed to get dressed in the morning? We suggest layers - lots and lots of layers. Pack an extra tissue thin T and umbrella in your roomy F&M bowler, swing a trench coat over your arm or wrap around you (who knows where the temp may fall), and ladies, the world is your oyster. 

Lions, and tigers and bears....oh my!
