Bangs have always been a sensitive issue for me...I think that the biggest fight my mother and I ever had was over growing out my bangs, which at that point had been permed for the better part of 3 years so that I could wear them nice and puffy...regardless, after years of the sideswept "faux" bangs, I made the chop last week. Not only are they fresh, youthful and kinda sexy, they also allow me to go for much longer periods of time between highlights as they disguise my (gasp!!) grey hair. Yikes.
