Little known factoid about Freddy&Ma....Freddy has too much energy for his own good and in addition to helping run Freddy&Ma he has another company in California, ventureDESIGNworks.  One of his latest products is PERFECT for anyone who runs.  It is called FreeHand and it is a pocket for the back of your hand.  It is ideal for carrying your cell phone, a little bit of extra cash or your iPod when you head out for a run in the Park.  Ma liked it so much she now runs with one on each hand.  Everyone who has tried it agrees that it is much nicer than an armband.  As running season is now upon us, get your FreeHand before you start your spring training!

the weather is far from desirable today in new york......one of my numerous theme songs is "Rainy Days and Mondays (always get me down)".....so cheerful rain gear is key.  Don't you love this fantastic print by Inigo Elizalde?

We have just added a new feature to this blog that we think many of you will like.  In the upper right hand corner, note the small box that says 'talk to us'.  Assuming we are online, which is 23 out of every 24 hours, you can instant message us.  This great little service is offered for free by Meebo, we recommend checking them out if you spend as much time during the day IM'ing as we do.

We are thinking about implementing something similar on our main site, but thought the blog would be a good place for a trial run.

F&M in BusinessWeek.com

Ok, I admit it, I love reading magazines, especially business related ones.  (I will leave it up to our astute readership to determine if this is Freddy or Ma speaking right now).  BusinessWeek is probably to me what celebrity rags are to a certain other person I work with (cough: Ma).  So needless to say, I was VERY happy to see a mention AND a quote from Freddy&Ma in this article at BusinessWeek.com by Virginia Postrel.  Not a bad week for F&M, a mention in a celeb rag and a mention in a business mag.    Oh, and if you have not read Postrel's Substance of Style, you should definately add it to your nightstand.

The new Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez collaboration, Grindhouse,  could turn out to be a terrible film but I have to say the PR efforts are fantastic!  Take a look at this super hot shoot in Vanity Fair from the magnificent Patrick Demarchelier.  How many ways can you spell H-O-T ?
