when life gives you lemons...

I used to always set up little businesses outside of my house.  I would make crafts, cookies, pink lemonade, and stand outside for hours hoping someone would drive by and take a look.......the funny thing is that the lemonade stand concept actually makes a lot more sense in the city, street traffic and all..........needless to say these UES kids (well their nanny actually) make a mean cup of lemonade for $.25........I was so amused that I gave them $.50, although I doubt they need it considering the address and logo.  Reason 573 that I love NYC.

I am not a light traveler.........my last trip was less than 24 hours in Philadelphia and I had a huge rolling suitcase and 3 pairs of shoes........but I am getting better at bringing pieces that work well together and allow for more outfits without necessarily bring more pieces........and of course everything coordinates with a roomy bowler in a chevron print by Kim Gledhill.

I think I may have mentioned my love of Martha Stewart........I tivo her show every day and watch them when my boyfriend isn't around........I find myself wanting to make scrapbooks and hot cross buns, a few examples of tasks I will probably never have time to do.........but I love this idea that I saw on her website today and if I had an apartment larger than a shoebox, I would make one of these over the weekend.
