a friend of Freddy's had an extra copy of Eat, Pray, Love and decided to send it my way. It's been a really long time since I read a book that I could relate to on so many levels yet didn't bore me or annoy me. I don't really know how to explain this book except that it's one woman's journey to "find herself" which sounds corny but I promise you is anything but......so I'm telling anyone who will listen that they should read this book and let me know what they think.....I'm almost finished with my copy so let me know if you want to borrow it ; )
“If you are brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting (which can be anything from your house to your bitter old resentments) and set out on a truth-seeking journey (either externally or internally), and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue, and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher, and if you are prepared – most of all – to face (and forgive)some very difficult realities about yourself….then truth will not be withheld from you.”
