As you may have noticed, we have been growing by leaps and bounds here at F&M. As such, we are looking to expand our team and will be posting a few different positions we have available on here over the next few months.
The first position we have available is for a marketing manager/event coordinator for our custom events. Our event business has been rapidly expanding and we would like to find someone to manage the business development, marketing and execution of these events. It is a very interesting position and would be a great fit for a a seasoned marketer looking to work for a smaller company where their work can make a large impact. Read more below:
Freddy&Ma is a little company located in NYC that makes custom handbags. We sell bags through our website, www.freddyandma.com and through custom events, held in our showroom and at client locations throughout the country. We are looking to expand our team and bring on board a seasoned marketer/event planner/sales coordinator to take on managing the the custom event side of our business.
This role would be responsible for creating and executing on marketing strategies, management of key customer accounts, business development and event planning for our custom handbag events. This is a very interesting role and you will have the ability to see your vision for this part of our business come to life.
The perfect candidate would have demonstrated sales/marketing experience (at least 3 years) in a fashion, advertising or consumer products company. We are a small company and so, at least in the beginning, we need someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and execute on the details required to implement their strategies. Compensation will be a salary plus bonus based on the amount that you are able to grow this portion of our business.
Our office is located in Chelsea and you would be working among a small, tightly knit team of people. You will be assigned goals and be expected to execute upon them. You will be given a budget and be expected to creatively work within it to achieve your goals. A love of fashion and a keen understanding of business and marketing operations are critical to success in this position.
