We have talked about our Gramma Hazel here before; she was the inspiration for our best selling clutch. She loved pretty things, clothes, jewelry, dolls and dishes...and she most of all adored her grandchildren. Gramma Hazel would stay up with me until 3am watching movies, making crafts, re-arranging the dollhouse, eating bacon&cheese sandwiches...she was not your typical grandma. She always drove a white car, usually a Buick, with dark blue velvet interior. My cousin and I used to use baby wipes to "clean" the interior in the back of her car which I'm pretty sure actually made a mess. She never listened to music when she drove but would let us play our "freak like me" adina howard single which is a bit mind-blowing now that I think about those lyrics. She passed away way too young when I was 18. She would have loved to see me get married. My grandpa is giving me her favorite china as a wedding present. It's absolutely gorgeous and perfect and special. I'm so happy to have something that reminds me of her every day. The best gift ever. xo.
